This is from a collection of patches from the 1960's to the 1980s from the estate of a long time sales person from Lion Brothers Embroidery in Maryland. According to the estate, he accumulated many obsolete patch samples that over time the company stopped selling. These patches were used as samples to take to the customers to show them before final delivery. Lion Brothers is a long established (100 years +) company known for their high quality designs and products..
You may think you see similar patches for less, but rest assured these are true vintage items, not reproductions that aren't the wrong colors nor are they off center or seconds, but the are the real deal high quality survivors from decades ago.
