Vtg *ART DECO* Antique Clamp-on Bench Hand Crank Grinding Wheel Sharpening Stone
ESTATE FIND! I’ve seen a lot of old hand-crank grindstones, but never a stylized Art Deco one like this!
Heavy antique hand grinder, remnants of original red paint remain. Adjustable to fit on any size bench. I see no manufacturer or makers mark, but likely American made. Measures about 9 x 7 x 7.5”.
Overall good condition for the age, although the grindstone doesn’t turn when you spin the crank (they both turn manually, though, so not seized). I put a few drops of oil in the top hole, but it didn’t seem to help much, will need a little TLC to get working again.
