This listing is for a rare Limoges Jean Pouyat France hand painted porcelain pitcher. A beautiful palette featuring a floral motif with hand painted vines, leaves and cascading delicate flowers. The design is very impressive, displaying fine and intricate detail and a host of rich colors. It is accented with a heavy gold gilt on the handle, including the base and rim. This magnificent piece measures about 12” high and 7”diameter to the end of the handle. It is marked on the base. It is gently used with minimal paint loss and no discernible damage.
