This listing is for a Vintage Or Antique Fusee Skeleton Clock with a wooden base. It currently Runs- however it needs a correctly weighted pendulum. I have tried to make a sort of makeshift replacement for the original, and have got it to run for over hour long periods, however I haven’t been able to dial it in just right. While I have not been able to fully test the clock due ti this, I believe that with the correct pendulum it would run just fine. It has a lovely porcelain face on it. It stands approximately ~18.5” tall while on its wood base. It is not marked by a maker or model number that I have been able to find, nor have I been able to narrow down a maker or particular year. It has the correct look for an antique, but lacks the patina. May be a vintage clock made in the same way as an antique would have been, I am not sure. It is fully complete, and appears to be completely undamaged. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of styles of decor. It makes this an excellent piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! These clocks are hard to find in the US working or otherwise, and international shipping can be so dicey with a delicate item such as this - Grab this one today for a great deal! It is in good condition, with no major damage. The base has some minor wear- see photos- but no cracks or staining. Cloth piece is unfaded and not worn. Makeshift pendulum I tried to use will be included, as will any others I can get to work better than it, but correct original pendulum & hanger is not. Suspension spring is in excellent working shape and appears to be fully correct. No rusting or corrosion issues, some light patina / previously fixed bends to the second hand. Spring piece to work the bell ringer seems a little weak, but may be just fine. I have not tried to wind it further or take it apart in any way. Fusee chain movement is in good shape and appears to be fully functional.
This clock comes from a massive estate collection, and was extremely well cared for in a temperature controlled room. Please check back this weekend & next week for multiple other antique & unique clocks I will be listing!
