If you\'re reading this, you probably already know much about these binoculars and their historical significance and value, so I\'ll skip to what you want to know.
As you can see from pictures, these are in very good condition with just surface finish coming off the casing, which is very typical of these (they did live through war). These in particular, are in really good condition when you factor in that many of these have not faired or aged as nicely on casing.
The optics are in very good condition. A little dust and debris on the inside which can be cleaned or left as is as it doesn\'t really hinder use at all. Best binoculars I have ever used. Crisp and clear and that\'s as it is now, without cleaning.
Both adjustments on eyes work. The main adjust in middle works as well. Takes a little effort to adjust, but once you get them fitted to your eyes, they will remain there.
The leather case, as you can see, is just beautiful. Wonderful, full grain leather with light cross stitching and still has that full leather smell. Well maintained over the years from top to bottom, sides, front, back and of course the inside. Case has done its job of protecting these binoculars.
Again there are others of this specific model available, but very few (if any) are in this good and usable condition.
Will pack up with care and ships fast.
As always thanks for looking.
