WWI 1917 OBE Order of the British Empire Military Medal in Original Box Garrard For Sale

This is an original Order of the British Empire Military medal with original ribbon in original box. Planchet measures approx. 2.5\" long and bears the hallmarks for sterling silver, the city of London, the maker Sebastian Garrard (SG), and the 1917 date. It shows overall wear and tarnishing. Ribbon shows overall wear and some fraying at the ends. Case is maker marked, shows overall yellowing of padded lining, and shows overall wear, scuffs, scratches, and some small peeling of outer wrapping. However, box is still in good, solid condition and clasp closure is functional. A great historical piece to add to your WWI medal collection!
