Up for your consideration is a WWI era Swedish Shako with a black horsehair plume and brass Swedish frontplate. There are some old stitched repairs at all four points where the side seams meet the top. The visor has heat crazing, as you can see in the pics. There is also a small area on the rim's underside where the black surface has flaked away. The exterior wool fabric is solid, with some very minor moth holes at the rear and on one side. The plume is full and clean. There is a leather sweatband and a silk liner, which is original and shows no signs of rot or splitting. Displays well.Shipping is FREE in the USA.
