WWII ARMY VETERAN UNIFORMS - 1292nd ENGINEERS UNIT GUIDON - PHOTO - RECORD LETTER - ORIGINAL WW2
WWII group belonging toStaff Sergeant Jack Sanitella ofA Company of the 1292ndEngineers.
The first uniform jacket is likely his dischargeuniform jacket with 7 ribbon bars & a pinned-on Good Conduct Medal. The uniformjacket further includes his rank stripes, unit patches, overseas & combat hashmarks, collar discs, all buttons and his visor cap.
The seconduniform jacket, likely one of his older jackets, has E5 Sergeant stripes, unit patch, overseashashmarks, collar discs & all appropriate buttons.
Alsoincluded are letters on two records provided by the USO, a photograph of SSGTSanitella and a partial testimonial.
NOTE** - There is also a red & white unit guidon in a frame for A Company of the 1292ndEngineers.Due to the cost of shipping the frame the unit guidon will be removed and the frame is not included in this sale. The frame may be another $100 to ship so if you send a message perhapswe could work something out. The frame measures 35 5/8" x 29 1/2" x 3/4"
CONDITION: uniforms show wear but are generallyin good condition. Guidon is stained & tattered on the edges, but substantiallysolid. Photo & testimonial are partially intact.
