This is a nice reproduction of an original WW2 photograph showingthe Fletcher Class Destroyer USS Hazelwood underway backto theUS after being hitby a Kamikaze off of Okinawa in 1945. Note that the entire bridge structure of the ship aft of the #2 gun mount is missing. It has been cut away and temporary repairs made so the ship could travel home. The gun director turret, which was on top of the superstructure, has been placed on the deck for re-use, as have the two 40mm mounts that would have been in tubs just forward of the bridge area. Size is about 4" x 6".
