Up for sale is aWWII Era US Army M49 Spotting Scope w/M15 Tripod w/Carry Case& M164 Carry Case. This is the observer spotting scope set that was used by both US Army & USMC Sniper Team from WWII up through the early Vietnam period. The scope has clear optics. It hasthe original rearlens cover and a replacement front lens cover. It has the M15 tripod & Canvas Carry Casewith the securing strap and the M164 carry case for the scope. The scope body has some scratches in the paint, but is in very nice condition. The data plate is present. Very Hard to find a fairly complete set up like this, in one offering.
