WWII U.S. Collins 1942 Machete Sword Knife + Leather Sheath Milwaukee Saddlery For Sale

Collins WWII Machete 1942 measuring 27\" overall with a blade length of 22\". Very good condition with some age patina, wear, use. Left side of handle is stamped with initials, \"R.D.B.\" , The ricasso are of the blade is also stamped, \"R.D.B. /0570. Just in front of this one can see a partial white markings with Legitimus Collins markings, looks to have been embedded into the steel. The opposite side of the blade is stamped, \"U.S. LEGITIMUS COLLINS&CO/1942\". Excellent looking black grips, no looseness. Also with this comes a Rare WWII Leather Machete, stamped, \" U.S. MILWAUKEE SADDLERY CO. 1942\" Just below this shows a stamping of \"B-0570\" which is the same stamp on the blade, (0570) . Very good leather sheath showing some surface wear, scratches, age patina, no tears. An interesting piece that warrants further research. See photos.
