Beginningin 1971, The \'Picture Box” series consisting of 60 figurines werereleased in sets of 5 until the complete series was completed. Thesefigurines were highly polished, and the glossy glaze can be quitenoticeable.Figurines have the always recognizable parallel ridges on base underside.Many in the series of 60 had a green glaze highlightingthe lower base of the figurine. Each of the twelve sets of five hadcolored boxes as follows: Dark Blue (71), Red (72), Dark Green (72),Yellow (73), Dark Red (74), Light Blue (75), Orange (76), Magenta(77), Medium Blue (78), Light Green (79), Brown (79) and completingthe circle, Dark Blue (80) again.
Wade\'sQuality Control function was exceptional during the production ofthese figurines. Care and effort were used to ensure a fine endproduct that would become a hallmark of the Wade organization.
Picturebox may show some signs of shelf wear, but all tabs and flaps are ingood shape unless seen in photos.
