This is the Female Hearth Dragon in “Citrus” with two baby dragon hatchings.
This big-boned dragon is airbrushed with all the colors of citrus fruit! Lime, lemon, grapefruit and oranges. She has dark orange glass eyes, gold colored details and a small dichroic lead crystal globe rests in her cupped front paw. She is antiqued with dark brown to bring out her rugged stone “citrus peel” texture.
This is a big dragon! She weighs nearly 14 1/2 lbs (That’s her weight without a box!) Plan to have a sturdy shelf to support her. She is about 12 1/2″ long and 8 3/4″ tall.
Introduced May 10, 2018, the Female Hearth Dragon in Citrus is an unsigned limited production piece.
This sculpture is new and was taken out of the box for actual photos of the item.
This limited production color variation is currently sold out and it is unknown if the manufacturer will make this available again.
Entire set will be double boxed with the original package of each piece to insure safe delivery. I only charge actual calculated shipping rates. Required signature insurance is extra.
The two dragon hatchling with colors that complement this set are one in orange with light blue glass eyes and a small dichroic crystal on forehead, and the other hatchling in green with orange color glass eyes and dichoic crystal on forehead.
Both are the retired first version specimen being replaced with the later version 2 hatchling, they are no longer being produced.
The original v1 dragon hatchling, first introduced in 1984, are unsigned production piece measuring approximately 3 inches tall.
These are individually hand-painted and markings may vary very slightly. You may find that different lighting displays the colors differently as well. This is a cast gypsum reproduction of M. Peña’s original sculpture produced by Windstone Editions, Corvallis, Oregon, U.S.A. (previously located in North Hollywood, California). For indoor display only.
