Up for sale is an extremely rare museum quality 17th century Italian open salt cellar.it's made of a solid gilt bronze and has acquired a wonderful patina from age.it has a figural dolphin design sitting on a routed circular claw footed base.the open cellar is in the shape of an ornate shell and has a birds foot as the shaft.It's depicted clenching the head of the dolphin with his talons.the cellar is in nice condition and measures 4 1/4 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches wide.

buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS's new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims. If it is under 40$ and insurance is not requested from buyer, I will not be responsible to refund purchase for broken or lost item/items.There will be no sales tax charged to cost of item, unless the buyer lives in, and/or is getting package shipped to a New Jersey address.
