You are offerding on a Springerle board from 1930\'s-1940\'s Germany./ There is a carved figure on both sides of this 17.5 inch-long board carved from beech wood./ On one side is the S.A (Sturm-Abteilung) soldier. On the sleeve of his upper right arm is carved a \"Hakenkreuz\" (hooked cross), which I have covered with a coin . The detail in the carving on both sides is remarkable. On the other side of the board is a German Wehrmacht soldier in his field gear. This is an authentic, original, antique Springerle board from National Socialist Germany, The board is 1 inch thick and 6 inches wide. There is a spot on the bottom of the side of the board where the S.A. man is depicted...where a former owner has filled in a small hole with wood putty.
