Up for sale is a very rare antique late 19th century cast iron 'The Ideal Copy Holder' document/music stand made in Groton by theCrandall Typewriter Company.It has a gorgeous solid cast iron footed base and a pivoting arm to adjust the pitch of the document stand.The stand also has a spring loaded arm that holds the paper tightly on the stand.It has acquired a lovely patina from age and measures 17 inches tall by 9 1/4 inches wide.
