Omega tech ratchet spanner. UNUSED Ex UK MOD surplus, complete with the "crows foot" and the MOD part number.one end is the usual 1/4 inch hex drive,other end is a lager 5/16 inch hex drive,
labelled "on" and "off" to describe what happens to the nut. eg ratchet action is fixed. to reverse, you have to flip the spanner over. simples.
In polished chrome-steel, these should last many years, and save a fortune in lost time - why ? their compact size and shape allows you to remove small nuts bolts etc from restricted areas. ( where your screwdriver that takes hex bits can't fit as it's too long )Also allows you to apply a lot more torque than using a screwdriver, perfect for those challenges found all over the place.
With the hex drive, you can fit all sorts of bits, eg dross head / pozi, allen/hex bits, torx, or tri-wing or....the adapter to let you use small sockets, making this a very handy tool in any workshop, recovery truck, or your own glovebox.Being MOD spec...if it's good enough for the military, it's good enough for anyone !
