View Larger Image   Stanley No. 203 Block Plane Rare!   Description: Offering this hard to find Stanley block plane, marked "NO. 203" under the cap cover and just in front of the cutter depth adjustment wheel. The wheel is marked "STANLEY" in cast letter on it. The knob is a dark rosewood, all of the features of an early model from about 1912-1920. The condition is good+ with about 70% of the black Japanning intact, and the rosewood knob has a few dings in it, but solid. Some minor scratch on the bottom, otherwise good bare metal surfaces. The cutter is about 80% intact, and is marked "STANLEY SW MADE IN U.S.A." with the Sweetheart trademark intact.
