View Larger Image   Union Hardware 1" Socket Framing Chisel   Description: This is a nice clean extra heavy duty 1" wide x 15.5" long socket firmer chisel marked "UNION HARDWARE COMPANY TORRINGTON CONN. U.S.A." on the steel. This is a good quality chisel, that has a good sharp cutting edge ready to use, very clean, no rust. There area around the cutting edge is clean and flat. The steel alone is 11.5" long. The ash hardwood handle is very nice, solid, with a good iron ferrule ring at the end, some wear, but in good working order. There is a light owner's intials etched on the top area near the socket.
