View Larger Image   Disston 26 inch D-8 Hand-Saw 8-point   Description: This is a nice clean 8 TPI skew back crosscut saw marked with the "DISSTON PHILA" logo on the handle medallion, and is also nicely etched "HENRY DISSTON & SONS PHILADELPHIA" and also has some other etching on it as well. The handle is nice, a dark reddish brown with a few small dings on the logo side, and small even small dings on the opposite side, otherwise solid with a nice patina. The handle appears to have been clear coated at some point since it was new, a nice job though. The 26" long blade is straight and clean. This is one of several saws that I have, of which are straight, sharpened and ready to cut, this one included. The blade is clean on both side, some minor staining, some minor pitting on less than 5% of the bare metal surface area.
