View Larger Image   Speednut Chicago Mfg. 8" Adjustable Wrench   Description: This is a good clean 8' long adjustable combination wrench marked "8IN FORGED SPEEDNUT STEEL PAT. 163 MFG. BY CHICAGO MFG. CO. CHICAGO U.S.A.". This is a speed wrench that is spring loaded to return to the smaller nut size, or while in use to the size nut you are attaching it to. The spring load a be turned off via a pin the can be pushed in and a spring tension lever released on the side of the wrench just behing the pivot pin. When presure is applied to turning the wrench, the jaw automatically hold firmly on the nut. Works good! The wrench is in good shape overall with some minor rust pitting on it, and some wear on the jaw edges noted. In very good working order, with a capacity of 1/2"-1 1/8" max.
