View Larger Image   Standard Twist Drill Ornate Drill Stand   Description: This is a very nice clean never used stand for a set of twist drills. A nice cast metal drill stand to hold each size number drill in it's respective place. The stand is marked in raise lettering "THE STANDARD TOOL CO CLEVELAND OHIO U.S.A. SET NO. 8" and number drill sizes from 1 to 60". The stand is 1.5" high x 2.8" wide, and 7.6" long overall. There is some casting cracks noted on the stand, due to the casting conditions when it was made, there is no sign of damage or abuse, and no parts are broken off, or even loose, very study and useable, 99% of the original nickel plating is intact. The box appears to have originally held this stand and a full set of drills, but I only have the drill block as they call it, or just the stand and the original box for sale. The box is in fair to good condition with a good readable label, some torn and taped corners, solid, the bottom in much nicer shape than the top. The original wrapping paper is inside.
