View Larger Image   Bronze Low Angle Block Plane Nice!   Description: This is a top quality Made in U.S.A., hand finished thumb or block plane with the adjustable cutter mechanism. This is a very nicely finished plane with a very rigid design, and a heavy duty 1.25" wide cutter. The plane is 1.62" wide and about 6.2" long overall. The cutter lays in the bed at 12 degrees on this one, and has a nice Cocobolo infill. Another nice feature is the flared pad at the end of the cap cover, that keep the thumb screw from leaving dings on the cutter. The cap cover and special hardened cutter are marked by the maker. A very well made tool! Recommended. Each one of these is cast bronze, that means it is more resistant to cracking than cast iron!
