View Larger Image   Stanley Defiance Smooth Plane No. 1204   Description: Offering this nice clean Defiance #1204 By Stanley Plane. The blade is marked as above. It has black painted hardwood handles, having chips in the painted/stained finish. The blade is in great shape, ready to work (sharp). The blade clamp and the plate below it were Japanned in gray like the rest of the plane. The Japanning on the plane casting is about 95% and on the clamp and plate about 80%. The bottom is smooth having some scratches, but still looks good. There is no frog adjustment on this model (as original). There is some minor staining on the bare steel.
