View Larger Image   Brown & Sharpe No. 570 Vernier Caliper w/Box 12 Inch Capacity   Description: This is a nice, clean, quality 0-12" capacity vernier caliper, marked "BROWN & SHARPE MFG. CO. PROVIDENCE R.I. U.S.A.". This is a very good quality caliper with Outside readings on one side of the caliper, and a scale for inside readings on the other side. It features the hardened bar and jaws, and fine adjustment, all in very good condition. It has .001 inch increments, and the scales are in great shape. This is a used caliper, but in top condition with some minor staining, no owner's marks, no wear noted, one tiny spot of minor pitting not in the scale, and not on any precision surface. In about 97% like new condition! The box is nice with good latches and hinges, it has the Brown & Sharp mark on the outside of the lid, but some of the label is worn off. The box has a fairly nice finish, is solid, and the velvet inside is in clean condition with minimal wear. A used tool, but very well cared for!
