View Larger Image   Millers Falls Yankee Push Drill w/8 bits Rosewood!   Description: This is hard to find late 1800's era, Yankee type push drill with a full set of 8 drill points! This one is marked "MILLERS FALLS CO. MILLERS FALLS MASS. MADE IN U.S.A.". This is a very rare model by Millers Falls! It has the unique handle, with special 8 drill compartments for drill point storage in handle that is made of rosewood, and in very nice condition! Each comparment is numbered for a full set of 8 drill points. The shafts are brass, and the chuck is steel. The chuck is basically the same as the North Brothers Yankee screw chucks (in functionality), and so the drill points are very similar, in fact YANKEE brand drill points do fit the chuck. However, most of these points are original, and are marked from 1-8, unlike the Yankee bits that often had a fraction of the size stamped on them. The flat on the shank is also slightly longer than the Yankee drills, but the Yankee drills will work in this push drill with no problems. The threaded cap area is all in great shape, some of the points fit into there holes a bit tight, but they will come out if you keep them waxed. Overall this push drill and points are in very good to new condition, there is one split in the brass ferrule, but the handle is attached on the interior also, so it if very solid no movement from the handle to the shaft.
