View Larger Image   ROE No. 1167 Boxwood Large Number Rule   Description: This is a nice 4 fold 2 foot boxwood rule with brass fittings, marked "BOXWOOD ROE MADE IN ENGLAND NO. 1167". It's in good clean solid condtion with some minor dings and scratches. The is one spot on the inside at the 5 1/5 inch mark that is slightly raised, and has a hairline crack that is not on the outside. It appears the hinge extension pin pushed out slightly. This type of rule has no alignment pins from the factory, yet is very straight, and close paralel and flat. The big numbers style is often refered to as a "BLINDMAN'S" rule as they are 3/8" high. A real nice rule overall!
