View Larger Image   Park Metalware Xcel Multi-Head Wrench Set & Case   Description: This is a unique patented wrench set design that features multiple different sized open end wrench heads that all fit snugly on to the handle. The set is marked "PARK METALWARE CO. INC. ORCHARD PARK N.Y. XCEL MULTI-HEAD WRENCH WARRANTED PAT. APR.29.1925" on the wrench handle section, and each of the heads is marked with it's actual size from 3/8" to 5/8". The wrench heads each fits the handle very snuggly, (press fit) together with the handle form a very strong wrench. The set comes with a custom made pressed steel case with a steel sliding top, that works just fine. The inside of the case has about 75% of it's original paint intact, the outside has only about 5% intact. This set is complete as sold in the 1930's era. The case is all metal, very solid. The case is only 1/2" thick, it is 6.8" long overall.
