In a black glossy finish with handpainted decoration, this set has a Majolica appearance. The large chicken dish measures 8.5 in. long, 5.5 in. tall and is 3.75 in. wide. The candleholders each are 4.5 in. long, 2.5 in. wide and 3 in. tall. A blue Made in Japan label is still attached. I find not damage such as cracks, chips etc. Very minor paint loss to decoration.
