View Larger Image   Vernier Depth Gage Gauge w/ Fitted Case Unique!   Description: This is a very nice double position vernier height or depth gauge with two scales, one 4" and one 8" capacity, either will fit into either slot. There is no maker's name on this tool, which is surprising, as it is nicely made. Graduations are in .025" on the scales, but the vernier scale on the also has graduation allowing for .001" accuracy with the combined scales. The case is 2 x 10" with felt interior, hardwood exterior, with good hinges and latches. This tool is near square enough to use as a double square as well, but is basically designed to be used are a depth gauge.
