View Larger Image   Antique Tie Rack Holder Leather 36 Neck Ties   Description: Offering this handsome Victorian gentlemen's tie rack, made of soft padded leather with embossed decoration in rich gold. Measures 9.5 inches long, and has 18 brass loops on each side to hold ties for up to a total of 36 ties. Backside is plain brown book cover type heavy cloth covering. Good++ condition, no missing brass loops, a little bit of leather scuffing type wear, but only one very small piece of leather missing along the top rounded edge area, very well attached otherwise, only adds character. The brass tie holders are designed to spring a little bit, enough to allow the tie to be inserted from the side, or you can push it through the slot opened from the end of the tie if you wish. The brass holders allow for ties up to 1.25" wide. There is also a well attached hanging ring at the top end for wall hanging if you wish, it is also very well attached. These tie holders we made for travel as well as for wall hanging, to keep you ties organized at all times! Exact age is unknown, but ranges from early 1900's to pre WWII. This holder could be used for some types of cloth belts as well.
