~1873 BURR FAMILY 31 CDVs CABINET CARDS + BIOS + 2006 AARON BURR ASSOCIATION PROGRAM N414This album is composed of distant relatives or descendants of the cousins of US Vice President Aaron Burr. Many of the bloodlines closely related to Aaron Burr were maternal only after two generations which meant a loss of the Burr name.
Most of the images are in an approximately 5\" x 6\" leather-bound album. Several have handwritten notes on the paper housing the image with a name and dates, but the majority have no annotations. None of the images were removed for examination so it is possible more information is on the reverse. The first dated image in the book is 1873.Two of the photographs are loose, in the larger cabinet card format, and measureapproximately 4.25\" x 6.25\".
Included in the collection are two printed biographies: Benjamin Burr and Henry Burr. Additionally, there is a 2006 program for the Aaron Burr Association Annual Meeting, copies of modern newspaper clippings mentioning Aaron Burr, and two Burre family crests.
