For offer is my mid 1960’s to early 1970’s, Charatan’s Era, BEN WADE COLINDALE Chimney - Beautiful Grain reaching from heal to rim, and the length of the shank…. I’m going to regret offering this one out as I’m thinning my collection. The smooth finish is exquisite to bring forward the grain. Some interior rim darkening and surface marring, consistent with relatively careful smoking. I’ve reamed the chamber, and cleaned the airways in the shank and stem with 99% alcohol - ready to smoke or continue cleaning to your satisfaction upon receipt.
Wade pipes were not transitioned to Denmark until around ‘72, making for this Made in London piece to be squarely between ‘65 and ‘71.
