3.08 inches⸻🌟 DescriptionThis piece comes from my personal collection, carefully kept as a natural mineral display specimen.“Mango Halo” is a natural Himalayan quartz crystal from Hashupi, Shigar District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, distinguished by its elongated highly transparent form, warm mango-golden termination, naturally oxidized mineral coating, multicolored surface iridescence, pronounced dissolution textures, and an unusual naturally recessed formation along one side.The crystal has an elegant long prismatic structure with a remarkably clear body. Much of the main crystal remains highly transparent, allowing light to travel deeply through the quartz and reveal its internal structure. When viewed against transmitted or directional light, the upper portion develops a particularly strong luminous effect, with the golden termination appearing almost surrounded by a warm halo—one of the characteristics that inspired the name “Mango Halo.”The termination is especially distinctive. A warm yellow-to-golden natural mineral coating concentrates toward the upper portion of the crystal, creating a noticeable contrast with the clearer lower body. Rather than appearing as a uniform artificial coloration, the golden material follows the natural crystal surfaces and varies subtly from face to face.Several of these upper crystal faces also display striking natural iridescence associated with the oxidized surface coating. Depending on the viewing angle and illumination, the faces reflect shifting tones of pink, green, blue, silver, and pale gold. Fine horizontal growth structures beneath the reflective surface further break the light into small bands and patches, producing an unusually colorful appearance while preserving the underlying natural crystal morphology.The main body provides a strong visual contrast to the golden crown. It is predominantly colorless and highly transparent, with a bright glass-like appearance. Internally, delicate misty areas and fine natural growth features interrupt the clarity in places, creating layers of clear and softly clouded quartz rather than a completely uniform interior.One side of the specimen is particularly sculptural. A pronounced naturally recessed section cuts inward along the crystal, creating an unusual grip-like contour when viewed from the side. Within and around this recessed area are complex irregular surfaces consistent with natural dissolution and subsequent growth processes. These textures range from finely etched areas to deeper uneven formations, giving this side a very different character from the broad, comparatively smooth prismatic faces.The lower portion becomes increasingly textured and cloudy. Natural dissolution and growth structures are visible around the base, including layered, irregular and locally spiral-like patterns. These features preserve part of the crystal’s complex growth history and give the specimen a distinctly natural termination toward the lower end rather than the appearance of a cut or shaped base.Across the crystal, the contrast is especially attractive: warm mango-golden color at the top, colorful iridescent reflections across several faces, a long transparent central body, internal mist-like structures, and strongly textured natural formations toward the side and base.✨ Key Features• Natural Himalayan quartz from Pakistan
