1. The “Tamamizu Lacquer Fountain Pen” is a fountain pen that uses lacquer work to depict the abundant flow of water from Japan’s mountains. A pattern evoking a water current is painted with a brush, and layers of translucent lacquer are applied to create a lustrous finish. The colors shine through the colored translucent lacquer, shifting in hue depending on the viewing angle.

   The lacquer work was entrusted to skilled Japanese artisans, who carefully finished each pen by hand.
