(Boxes are sometimes tapped at the end and/or are a pain to get open without bending the packaging at the corners.) Please be assured that despite any blemishes to outside packaging, if a knife is being sold as NEW that\'s exactly what it is. Knives from my personal collection are marked as NEW - OTHER or USED.
