100% GENUINE ORIGINAL WW2 USA AIRBORNE GLIDER QUALIFICATION BADGE - Instituted in March 1944, just before the D-Day 'OVERLORD' invasion of Normandy & Fortress Europe, this badge was worn by Airborne troops trained in Glider combat. Prior to 1944, glider troops wore a parachute badge superimposed with a glider - see my other listing.
