1820s DONERAILE HOUSE APPLIED SEAL BLACKGLASS PONTILED IRISH LIQUOR BOTTLE RARE For Sale

This is a very scarce small pint size Doneraile House applied seal blackglass wine or liquor bottle made in the 1820s for a famous estate located in County Cork, Ireland.....DONERAILE HOUSE with star in middle, bold emb on applied glass seal on front of bottle...PATENT emb on back shoulder.....H.RICKETTS & CO GLASS WORKS BRISTOL emb around bottom.....Hand blown in 3 part mold....sand pontil sunken bottom....applied double tapered collar....dark olive green blackglass.....only 8 1/4"tall (rare small pint size).....Excellent shiny nice condition with only a small sliver flake on bottom edge of applied seal; no other damage. Some faint inside content haze, but a nice clean bottle overall. Crude whittled glass....These were made in England for the inhabitants of the Doneraile House Estate in County Cork, Ireland, built in the 17th century which still stands today. For a similar example of this bottle with the same seal, see Victoria and Albert Museum, London, UK, object accession number C.32-1971..However, the V&A museum's example and all other examples I could find are roughly quart sized bottles measuring around 11" in height, while this bottle is instead a significantly smaller pint size only 8 1/4"tall....FREE SHIPPING WITH TRACKING ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.A.. ...
