Hildesheim, 1825 — Printed by Kasten & Comp.
Compiled by Moshe Benlevi
An early nineteenth-century Jewish calendar combining religious observance with practical information for merchants and travelers. The title page identifies its compiler, Moshe Benlevi, as a teacher at the Jewish school in Hildesheim.
The calendar features Hebrew and civil dates, weekly Torah readings, religious observances, and small Zodiac illustrations. A German-language directory of fairs and annual markets lists towns and their scheduled market dates, offering a glimpse into the commercial world of Jewish readers in the German lands.
