1830 U.S. America Officer Epee Sword Ebony Grip Battle War Andrew Jackson For Sale

I am offering for sale a circa 1830 American Officer\'s Epee Sword (French made) with a gilded brass clamshell guard depicting various military motifs and a ribbon bearing the legend, \"E Pluribus Unum.\" The grip is made of checkered ebony and the blade contains bluing as well as multiple gilded military symbols. The sword is a variation of the model depicted in the authoritative sword guide Epees by Jean LHoste. It was issued during the presidency of Andrew Jackson. It measures 37 1/4\" long from the tip of the blade to the top of the pommel.
