Up for sale is this antique pair of original 1850'S double lens side shield telescoping sliding temple blue railroad crriage sunglasses with a double lens design. These brass framed antique sunglasses are marked on the side that they were made by Schildknect, in Germany. Has side sliding telescoping temples to adjust for fit. The side lenses are hinged so the wearer could use as regular sunglasses or side shielding sunglasess. Wonderful blue colored lenses. leather case included. Frames are in excellent condition. One front lens has a tiny flake and one side lens has a tiny light spot but lenses are in nice shape for the antique age and use. Mechanical parts work smoothly. !!
