• Original 1902 quit-claim deed transferring property in Landis Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey. Grantor Annie E. Barker (one of the heirs at law of John L. Gerow, deceased), wife of William Barker, of the City of New York, conveys to grantee Mary E. Schley of the Township of Landis, Cumberland County, New Jersey, for the consideration of one dollar and other valuable considerations.

  The property description begins at a stake in the centre of Landis Avenue, forty rods west of the intersection of Landis Avenue and Malaga Road, extending north eighty-two degrees west eighty rods; thence north eight degrees east eighty rods; thence south eighty-two degrees east eighty rods; thence south eight degrees west eighty rods to the place of beginning — containing forty acres, strict measure, excepting a small strip on the north side previously conveyed to the Vineland Railway Company.

  Recites that these are the same premises originally conveyed by Charles K. Landis to John L. Gerow by deed dated December 7, 1865, recorded in Cumberland County Deed Book No. 108, page 128.

  Acknowledged before J. Swift Richards, Foreign Commissioner of Deeds in New York, Borough of Manhattan, March 7, 1902. Annie E. Barker separately examined and acknowledged her signature freely, without compulsion of her husband.
