1911 T68 Men of History GENERAL GEORGE CUSTER- Trimmed (see Description) For Sale

The product is a rare vintage non-sport trading card from the 1911 T68 Heroes of History set featuring the legendary General George Custer. The card is a nice-looking card, especially for this series, but unfortunately about 1/4 inch has been TRIMMED off the bottom of the card at some point in its long history. If the card weren't trimmed, it would probably grade out around G-VG, maybe a bit better. This card presents well, the back is quite sharp, though it would obviously only grade out as "Authentic" due to the trimming. Still, this is a good-looking vintage card of one of American History's most noteworthy generals and a very rare example of one of the most celebrated non-sports sets of the early 20th century.
