It will be torn down because the city is going to build a subway under it. The hotel has been visited by kings and queens, presidents, statesmen and other worldwide notables. Its passing is a feature of the country. In the oval is shown C. Albert Kaufmann who for 44 years has been head waiter at the Aster House and who because of unlucky investments must now seek other employment.Photo measures 7 x 5.25inches.
