1930 Medina County Ohio Basketball Tournament Programs News Clippings Boys Girls
Outstanding 1930 Medina County, Ohio high school basketball collection consisting of two Medina County Athletic Association Basketball Tournament programs plus approximately 30 period newspaper clippings documenting boys' and girls' basketball. Tournament was held February 22 through March 1 at the Medina High School Auditorium, with programs containing handwritten brackets/results for teams including Lodi, York, Spencer, Seville, Brunswick, Granger, Liverpool, Sharon, Hinckley, Homer, Westfield, Chatham and Litchfield. Newspaper clippings cover games, scores, standings and tournament action and were preserved together in the original handwritten envelope. Programs and clippings show expected toning, folds, edge wear, pencil writing and handling from age and use as pictured.
Wonderful all original basketball collection including two tournament programs, one with local advertising, each measuring about 7" x 4'. Results written on each. Also contains about 30 original newspaper clippings about the basketball season, I think most centering around Medina HS, but covering all other local teams of the day. Good condition on the group!
