Stunning 1930s Bohemian Czech Art Deco Uranium Glass Perfume Bottle
Up for sale is a breathtakingly beautiful, authentic Art Deco vanity perfume bottle. This historical piece is attributed to the famous "Ingrid" product line designed by Curt Schlevogt and produced by Heinrich Hoffmann in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia circa 1935.
Design Details:
The Bottle:
Features a unique geometric, tiered half-moon shape in glossy emerald green glass, embellished with heavily embossed satin/matte roses and crawling vines along the side panels.
The Stopper:
A magnificent frosted crystal open-oval design molded entirely into an intricate wreath of detailed roses and foliage. Please note that the stopper itself does not contain uranium (standard for this exact model production), creating a phenomenal visual contrast when displayed.
The Glow:
The green glass base is infused with uranium oxide. When placed under an ultraviolet (UV) blacklight, it fluoresces an incredibly bright, vivid neon green. It makes a showstopping display piece for any antique glass showcase or vanity collection.
Excellent vintage condition with minimal shelf wear consistent with age. There are no major chips, cracks, fleabites, or repairs to either the bottle or the stopper handle. The glass remains clear, vibrant, and highly detailed. The inner dauber wand is missing.
