Seal Craft discs are vintage American non-sport collectibles dating to the 1930s. The national Seal Craft series consists of 240 numbered subjects, plus known variations, featuring Native American subjects, animals, colleges, flags, aircraft insignia, pirates, dogs and other themes. The discs measure approximately 56mm (about 2.2 inches) in diameter. The holes and small slits around the perimeter are ORIGINAL TO THE DESIGN and are not simply damage. Seal Craft discs were designed so children could connect them together using rubber bands to create various craft projects and decorative objects. Period material associated with the discs included rubber bands and illustrated how the discs could be joined together.CONDITION:
Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. Six Seal Craft discs remain attached to the vintage cardboard display/storage card, with two empty circular openings where additional discs were previously removed.
