Rolland B. Marvin was elected Syracuse mayor just days after the stock market crash of 1929. Most of his 12 years in office were spent shepherding the city through the Great Depression.
George Randolph Fearon (March 12, 1883 – January 2, 1976) was an American lawyer and politician from New York. He was President pro tempore of the New York State Senate from 1931 to 1932.
