Whereas, I, HENRY HUGHES, of the Borough of Woodstown, County of Salem and State of New Jersey, owner in fee of premises
described in a certain Indenture of Mortgage made by Henry Hughes and Hilda F. Hughes, his wife, and Raymond Monroe and Elizabeth P. Monroe, his wife,
to John E. Watson,
dated the Fifteenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven,
of record in the office of the Clerk of the County of Salem in Book 49 of Mortgages, page 385, etc., to secure
the bond of said Henry Hughes
to said John E. Watson,
of even date, conditioned for the payment of Six Thousand ($6,000.00) Dollars,
with interest as therein mentioned.
And Whereas, Henry Hughes
has received notice of an assignment about to be made of said bond and mortgage by John E. Watson,
the holder thereof, to
John Deere Plow Company, of Syracuse, Inc.
Now Therefore, I, Henry Hughes,
do hereby acknowledge and declare that the sum of Six Thousand ($6,000.00) Dollars,
of principal debt, with interest at six percent from the 1st day of December,
in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, is still owing thereupon, and that he has no charge, claim, demand, plea, or set-off upon, for, or against the same in any way or manner whatever.
