1936 Cover & Signed Letter of Former U.S. Senator Arthur R. Robinson
Original November 12, 1936 correspondence consisting of the original mailed cover and enclosed letter from the Indianapolis law firm of Robinson, Symmes & Melson.
The letter is signed "Arthur R. Robinson" and was written by Arthur Raymond Robinson, Indianapolis attorney and former United States Senator from Indiana, who served in the U.S. Senate from 1925 to 1935.

Letter Content: The letter discusses Robinson's upcoming travel plans to Washington, D.C., and New York. He advises the recipient how he may be contacted at his Washington office in the Munsey Building or at the Mayflower Hotel during his stay.
Historical Background: Arthur Raymond Robinson was a prominent Indiana lawyer, former Indiana State Senator, World War I veteran, judge, and United States Senator from Indiana from 1925 to 1935. After leaving the Senate, he resumed private legal practice in Indianapolis.
